The company wanted to enhance its online presence to better serve existing clients and attract new customers. Their website was originally developed in 2018 and, while it had served them well, over time it had accumulated a lot of outdated information, had become cluttered, and was not optimised for search engine performance.
As a long term marketing partner of Haddow Bathrooms & Kitchens, Cunningly Good Group was set clear objectives to create a modern and visually appealing redesign of the site, streamline the navigation for improved user experience, improve the site’s SEO approach to increase organic search visibility, ensure 304 redirects were implemented for content that was to be removed and to resubmit the revamped site to search engines for speedy re-indexing
The redevelopment took place over a two week period to ensure the new site was in place ahead of a key purchasing time for the business.
We removed outdated content and introduced a fresh, modern, engaging design that aligned with their brand identity and showrooms. The number of pages on the site was vastly reduced to ensure a smoother user journey, making information more accessible and removing historical content that was no longer relevant.
Their website copy, metadata, and page structures were optimised for targeted keywords, and 304 redirects were applied to capture legacy traffic to content that had been removed alongside improving picture meta data and page meta data across the entire site.
After launching the newly designed website was check for speed and SEO health, achieving a 100% health score on AHRefs and significantly improved scores on Google Page Speed Insights. It was then re-submitted to search engines for crawling and indexing.
Just two months after the relaunch the new website is already delivering performance improvements including a 30.4% increase in referring domains, a 45% increase in average organic traffic, a 28.75% increase in engagement rate and a 58.6% increase in engagement time per session.
