West Lothian Leisure
The Cunningly Good Group was appointed in November 2024 to produce West Lothian Leisure’s annual review for 2023/24, with the aim to produce an eye catching document to emphasize the overall purpose of West Lothian Leisure as a charity (to create a West Lothian where everyone can live a healthier, happier, longer life) and it’s invaluable contribution to the wellbeing of those who live in West Lothian. The Cunningly Good Group was responsible for the copywriting and design of the report.
The report was to include the findings of a social value report commissioned by West Lothian Leisure, including the fact that the charity contributed a significant £14.4 million in social value over the period April 2023 to March 2024. The report was to be disseminated to all of West Lothian Leisure’s stakeholders with the ultimate aim of increasing the customer base (more members) at West Lothian Leisure and increasing support, both practically and financially, for the charity.
Working with West Lothian Leisure’s brand guidelines, the 12-page document carried the strapline ‘Real Impact’ on every page. As well as including the necessary introductions and financial data, the Cunningly Good Group worked with the team to identify case studies that would demonstrate the charity’s significant impact on those who use its services. Key statistics highlighting the charity’s impact were brought to life through the use of infographics, and a focus was given to the innovative projects the charity had invested in over the course of the year.
